Privacy Policy for Moji, Gokei, and Tsui

Last updated: 2026-08-28

PRPL Development publishes the following apps covered by this policy:

Summary

The apps are designed to work without accounts or a PRPL Development backend. They do not contain advertising, analytics, in-app purchases, or tracking. Study progress and settings are stored locally on the device.

Information processed by the apps

The apps store the information needed to provide their learning features locally on the device. Depending on the app, this includes study progress, learned-item state, review state, drill state, and app settings.

The apps do not send this local study information to PRPL Development. PRPL Development cannot use it to identify a user and cannot retrieve it remotely.

The current releases do not:

Local storage and deletion

Study progress and settings remain in the app's local storage unless changed or removed on the device. An app's clear or reset control removes the app-local progress identified by that control.

Because PRPL Development does not receive or maintain a server copy of this information, it cannot restore or remotely delete local progress. Device backups, app installation records, and operating-system storage behavior are managed by the relevant platform rather than by these apps.

Support communication

If a user voluntarily contacts support by email, PRPL Development receives the email address, message, and any attachments the user chooses to send. This communication happens outside the apps and is used to understand and respond to the support request. Users should not include sensitive personal information that is not needed to explain the issue.

App stores, operating systems, and diagnostics

Apple, Google, an operating-system provider, or a user's device settings may independently process store activity, device information, backups, or diagnostics. That platform-level processing is not performed or controlled by Moji, Gokei, or Tsui and is governed by the relevant provider's terms and privacy policy.

The apps do not claim access to platform-level diagnostic information. If a user chooses to send diagnostic details, screenshots, or other information to support, that information is handled as a support communication described above.

Updates

Over-the-air updates are disabled in the current release configuration. This policy must be reviewed and, where necessary, updated before over-the-air delivery is enabled or before app behavior changes in a way that affects data handling.

Policy changes

This policy will be revised when the apps' data practices change. The updated policy will show a new revision date.
